ARC Mausingfield - American Rifle Company Short Action
Proudly engineered and manufactured in the USA, this action is built for strength, reliability, and smooth performance. Designed around the Remington 700 footprint, it is compatible with Rem 700-style triggers, stocks, and chassis, as well as Savage pre-fit barrels and locknuts.
The action features interchangeable bolt heads for multi-caliber builds, an 83-degree bolt throw for improved scope clearance, toroidal locking lugs that do not require lapping, and a bolt-lug guide rail for smoother cycling. Additional features include an integral recoil lug, controlled-round feeding, dual cocking cams, a Mauser-style claw extractor, Springfield-style inertial ejection, and a durable one-piece bolt design.
Each action is machined from high-quality steel in the hardened condition and finished with corrosion-resistant black nitride. The ergonomic bolt knob and bump-free bolt closure provide a clean, smooth feel during operation.

Supports BDL bottom metal. Short action fits Wyatt’s extended box, while long action fits a standard Remington-length magazine box. Compatible with AICS magazines that have a front binder plate. ARC magazines and AICS magazines without a binder plate are not compatible.
For BDL setup, we recommend installation by a qualified gunsmith experienced with BDL bottom metal.
Closed Top Version
Does not support BDL bottom metal. Accepts AICS-style magazines through a Remington 700-style magwell. Long action accepts CIP-length magazines.
