The Remington Model 700 Long Action provides a proven starting point for custom rifle builds that require the additional cartridge length of a long-action platform. This is a current-production RemArms Model 700 action manufactured in LaGrange, Georgia, rather than older Ilion-produced new-old-stock inventory.
This configuration features a black-finished receiver and factory-style bolt assembly with the traditional Remington cast bolt handle. The familiar Model 700 footprint maintains broad compatibility with 700-pattern stocks, chassis systems, triggers, rails, recoil lugs, and bottom-metal components.
Multiple bolt-face configurations are available, allowing the action to support a range of long-action cartridge families. Compatible recoil lugs, triggers, rails, and bottom metal may also be added depending on the intended build.
