This action starts as a Stiller Lonestar-footprint receiver, machined by Pacific Tool & Gauge (PTG) and carrying its own PTG serial number — then it comes through the CSS Custom Shop, where our engraving replaces the standard factory markings with CSS branding. The result is a receiver with the accuracy pedigree of the Lonestar platform, built and finished as a true custom-house piece rather than an off-the-shelf blank.
Configured with a right-hand bolt and left-port ejection, this single-shot rimfire action is set up for shooters who want that specific ergonomic layout — a less common combination that's tough to find outside a custom build. It ships complete with the receiver, bolt assembly, recoil lug, and a 20 MOA Picatinny-style rail installed, ready to be built into a dedicated precision .22 LR platform.
