The GSG 1911 recreates the proportions and familiar controls of a full-size 1911 in a lightweight .22 LR semi-automatic platform. Manufactured in Germany and marked for American Tactical, this exact configuration pairs a black-finished frame and slide with a 5-inch barrel and traditional double-diamond walnut grip panels.

The pistol retains recognizable 1911-style features including an exposed hammer, grip safety, thumb safety, slide serrations, and a skeletonized trigger. Fixed-profile sights complete the traditional presentation, while the 10+1-round rimfire configuration keeps this example distinct from centerfire 1911 variants.

The barrel uses M9x0.75 mm factory threading beneath the muzzle assembly.
