March Majesta 8-80x56 Gen II High Master Riflescope – MOA, Writable Turrets

The March Majesta 8-80x56 Gen II is a High Master wide-angle riflescope built for F-Class, benchrest, and long-range target shooting. This variant (model D80HV56WTIW-G2) is an SFP scope in MOA with writable turrets, a zero stop, a 25° wide-angle eyepiece, a 6-level illuminated reticle, and the MTR-WFD reticle designed for F-Class on the 1000-yard ICFRA target.

What's new in the Majesta Gen II

- Complete optical redesign for better overall clarity and performance

- Sharper, clearer focus at close range

- Higher resolution across the entire field of view, center to edge

- Much less focus shift from temperature changes

- Better mirage resistance for clearer targets in heat shimmer

- New turret options: writable turrets or locking Shuriken turrets, both with zero stop

- Optional FT package with a dedicated focus system for faster, more precise close-range focusing

- Dark gray or black body available, with a choice of Shuriken lock or writable turrets

25° wide-angle eyepiece

The 25° eyepiece is 25% wider than the standard 20°. That is a 125% field-of-view expansion, or about 156% in field-of-view area at every magnification. You get a larger magnified picture of the target and its surroundings, without the tunnel effect common in high-magnification scopes. That helps you read conditions at the target, make last-second adjustments, identify your target, and avoid crossfire.

High Master lens system with Super ED glass

The Majesta uses two Super ED lens elements. They reduce chromatic aberration more than standard ED glass, which gives a sharper, higher-contrast image. Super ED glass also handles mirage better than ED glass and far better than regular optical glass. Because of this shimmer protection, you can keep the magnification high and hold a better aiming point.

MTR-WFD reticle for F-Class

March made new reticles for the 25° 8-80x56 High Master. The MTR-WFD was designed by Denys Beauchemin for F-Class and is built mainly for F-Class long-range matches in the USA, specifically the ICFRA 1000-yard target. It may suit other matches too, but F-Class target sizes vary around the world in both metric and imperial dimensions. Check that the reticle matches the targets you shoot before ordering.

Built to be durable

March scopes are argon-filled and, per March, fully weather-resistant and waterproof to at least 4 meters. March also states they have passed impact tests of up to 1000G. The 34mm "X" body tube has 4mm walls, which makes March-X scopes among the strongest riflescopes made. "X" stands for the 34mm tube and "F" stands for first focal plane.
