The PTG Twisted Shrapnel Long Action is a steel precision action built around a Remington 700-style footprint and designed for hunting, competition, and custom precision rifle builds.
Its defining feature is PTG’s spiral-ground receiver and matching spiral-ground bolt, giving the Twisted Shrapnel a distinctive appearance while retaining the familiar geometry of a 700-pattern action. The receiver incorporates a Tikka-style ejection port, extended magazine-well design, enlarged primary extraction camming surface, and #8 scope-base mounting screws.
Each action is paired with a one-piece PPG bolt that is blueprinted to the receiver. The bolt measures approximately .703" OD ± .002", uses a threaded bolt handle, and is offered in multiple long-action bolt-face configurations.
This parent product is available as either a Repeater or Single Shot, with Standard (.308), Magnum, or Lapua bolt faces, 0 or 20 MOA rail configurations, and Black or #11 Bead Blasted finishes.
