The PTG B12 Short Action is a stainless-steel precision action built around a Remington 700-style footprint and configured with a Tikka-style ejection port. Designed for hunting and competition-oriented builds, the B12 combines familiar 700-pattern compatibility with several custom-action features not typically found on factory receivers.
The receiver incorporates an extended magazine well designed for compatible Wyatt Outdoors extended magazine boxes, an enlarged primary extraction camming surface, and #8 scope-base mounting screws.
A one-piece PPG spiral-fluted bolt is blueprinted to the receiver and uses a threaded bolt handle. Short-action configurations are available with .223, PPC, Standard (.308), and Magnum bolt faces, allowing the same action family to support several cartridge classes.
Each action package includes the receiver, complete bolt assembly, compatible recoil lug, selectable-MOA Picatinny-style rail, and a PPG Remington Model 700-pattern trigger.
