The PTG Viking Drakkar is a precision short action built on a Remington 700-style footprint, so it works with most Rem 700 stocks, chassis, triggers and bottom metal while giving you a more refined receiver and bolt than a factory action.

This Drakkar’s receiver was made by Weatherby in Sheridan, Wyoming, and is marked accordingly. It’s finished in Dusk Black Cerakote over 4140 steel and paired with a one-piece spiral fluted black nitride bolt, blueprinted and fitted to the receiver. A Stiller-style ejection port gives generous clearance while keeping the receiver rigid, and a side-release bolt stop lets you run triggers that don’t have an integrated bolt stop.
