Remington 700 .300 Win Mag Bolt Action Rifle – Grayboe Black/Gray Splatter Stock
MAGNUM POWER. PURPOSE-BUILT PRECISION.
This is a proven Remington 700 long action in .300 Win Mag, finished with a jeweled bolt and set in a Grayboe black and gray splatter composite stock. At just 7 lb 7 oz, it's one of the lighter magnum setups you'll find, so it gives you long-range energy in a rifle you can carry up a ridge all day. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is a jeweled bolt?
Jeweling, also called engine turning, is a pattern of small overlapping swirls polished into the bolt body. It's a traditional finish found on higher-grade and custom rifles, and it gives the action a distinctive look.
What is the .300 Win Mag good for?
It's a flat-shooting magnum for elk, moose, bear and other big game at long range. Expect more recoil than a .308 or 6.5 Creedmoor.
What bullets work best with a 1:12 twist?
A 1:12 twist generally stabilizes the common .300 Win Mag hunting bullets in the 150 to 180 grain range. If you plan to shoot very heavy, long bullets (200 grain and up), ask us first and we'll help you choose.
How heavy is it?
7 lb 7 oz without a scope. Plan on adding roughly 1.5 to 2.5 lb for rings and an optic, depending on what you choose.
How many rounds does it hold?
3 in the magazine plus 1 in the chamber (3+1), which is standard for a Remington 700 long action in .300 Win Mag.
Does it come with a scope?
No. The Picatinny rail is installed, so you only need rings and an optic. Ask us for a matching scope recommendation.
Is the barrel threaded for a muzzle brake or suppressor?
No, this barrel isn't threaded.
