Remington 700 Long Range 7mm PRC H-S Tan Timney Trigger Rifle - 26in

A Remington 700 in 7mm PRC built on a rigid H-S Precision stock with a Timney trigger already installed.

This Remington 700 Long Range pairs the proven Model 700 bolt action with an H-S Precision brown-and-black splatter stock and a blue Timney trigger. The H-S Precision stock gives the action a rigid, stable foundation, and the Timney delivers a crisp, consistent break, so the two upgrades most shooters make to a factory 700 are already done. The 26" threaded barrel and 1:8 twist are built to get the most out of heavy, high-BC 7mm bullets.

Who it's for: elk and mule deer hunters who want to reach past 500 yards, long-range shooters who want a rifle ready for steel and field, and anyone who wants an upgraded Remington 700 without building one themselves.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the 7mm PRC good for?

The 7mm PRC (Precision Rifle Cartridge) is built for long-range hunting and shooting. It fires heavy, high-ballistic-coefficient bullets that carry energy and resist wind at distance, making it a strong choice for elk, mule deer and other big game.

Why does a Timney trigger matter?

A Timney trigger gives a cleaner, more consistent break than most factory triggers. Less movement at the shot means tighter groups and more confidence on long-range shots.

Why an H-S Precision stock?

H-S Precision stocks are known for rigidity and stability in changing weather, giving the action a solid foundation that helps the rifle hold zero.

Why does the 1:8 twist matter?

A 1:8 twist spins long, heavy 7mm bullets (175–180 gr and up) fast enough to stabilize them, so the 7mm PRC can take full advantage of high-BC long-range bullets.

How much does this rifle weigh?

About 9 lb 8 oz, heavy enough to stay steady and tame recoil, light enough to carry on most hunts.

Does it come with a scope rail?

No. No rail or bases are installed, so you can set it up with the mounts and optic you want.

Is this rifle legal in California?

Yes. It's a bolt-action rifle, and California's threaded-barrel restriction applies to semi-automatic centerfire rifles. California buyers transfer through a CA FFL with a background check and 10-day wait.

Can I put a suppressor on it?

The barrel is threaded, so it accepts a muzzle brake or suppressor where legal for you. Suppressors are not legal in California.

How does shipping work?

Firearms ship only to a licensed FFL dealer. Your dealer sends us their license, we ship, and you pick up the rifle at their shop.
