This Ruger American is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and fitted with Ruger’s olive-green lightweight synthetic stock. The stock uses Ruger’s molded ergonomic profile with textured grip surfaces and a soft rubber recoil pad for a straightforward hunting and field configuration.
The rifle is equipped with the Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger, Ruger detachable rotary magazine system, factory-style Picatinny scope rail, and a threaded barrel with a protective thread cap. Ruger’s original American Rifle platform also incorporates its Power Bedding system to positively locate the receiver and free-float the barrel.
