The Weatherby Model 307 action brings Weatherby engineering to a modern, highly adaptable bolt-action platform. Designed around a footprint similar to the Remington 700, the Model 307 was purpose-built to work with a broad range of compatible stocks, chassis systems, triggers, bottom metals, rails, and mounts.
At the center of the action is a two-lug spiral-fluted bolt with an M16-style extractor for positive extraction and smooth operation. The bolt also incorporates Weatherby's tool-less takedown system for straightforward disassembly and maintenance.
A threaded bolt handle provides additional customization flexibility, while the receiver is drilled and tapped for 8-40 scope-mount screws. The elevated bolt-release location was specifically designed with Remington 700-pattern aftermarket stocks and chassis systems in mind.
